BLOG ENTRY #47 JULY 31 and AUGUST 1: Doing my own laundry and Swiss Chalet

I found a laundromat within a mile of the hostel and I washed my own clothes.  It was actually fun, using a coin machine and purchasing soap powder.  I haven't done that in years.  In New York, most of the automated machines use cards.

Below, is a video from my visit to SWISS CHALET.  On one of my two stations on television, I kept seeing this commercial advertising their chicken and ribs combination.  I was sick of eating fried chicken in Detroit, so rotisserie chicken was welcome.  I actually ate their August 2 after the parade.  It is actually  a less chaotic DALLAS BBQ restaurant (if you are familiar with the chain in NYC)

Going to the library is not really the ideal way to spend a vacation, but, the main reason I came here was to check out Caribana one last time.  The library came up because I didn't trust the hostel I was staying at.  I will say that Toronto's library is beautiful with an enormous amount of space.   People eat while web surfing.  The environment is cool
